Ultrafiltration plant is a water purification technology used to treat impure water where water is impure but its TDS levels are 500ppm. The Ultrafiltration Plant removes physical, chemical & biological impurities from water.
The feed pump stainless steel food grade pump that takes water from raw water tank and inject it into the system.
It's the 1st stage of filtration, Multimedia filter consists of multi-layer beds of silica, quartz & gravel sand, the water passes through each layer that removes physical particles present in water.
Installed right after Multimedia Filter; the water passes through the bed of "Granular Activated Carbon" media which removes organic impurities like chemicals, chlorine, insecticides, pesticides, herbicides and unpleasant taste and odor. Generally carbon is replaced once in two years for better performance.
Installed after Sand and Activated Carbon Filter for further purification, usually two micron filters are put into a series one is 5 micron and the other is 1 micron. The purpose is to remove tiny particles up to 1 micron size. 0.2 micron cartridges are also available.
Used to remove essentially all colloidal particles (0.001 to 0.1 microns). The pore size is mainly responsible for determining the type and size of contaminants removed. Nearly all of the compound will not pass through the membrane.
The 6th stage of the plant. It's the most popular technology for disinfecting water from virus and bacteria using germicidal rays. It is a physical process, so it doesn't alter water's chemistry, taste, smell, or pH at all.
